An Update!!!

So it has been a while since we have updated everyone with what is going on in our life.
As a family unit we are doing great!! Gus is the best husband. He amazes me every day!! He has been wonderful at leading us in a God directed home. He is also a wonderful daddy! Each night before Ethan goes to bed he reads a story from the Bible. I think that is very special. He is a hard worker and I love him dearly!!!

Ethan has started to remember the stories that is read to him and it is so sweet to hear him tell them back to us. He even has a beautiful singing voice. He just absolutely loves to sing. He is also learning scripture, which can be challenging at times but then other times alot of fun. He is strong willed and tries us all the time. Persistance, Patience, and quite a bit of spankings!! I am praying that one day he will be alot easier if we take care of his strong will now!

Tucker, he is our little quiet one for the most part. He seems to be a content and a happy baby.He does like to be held by mommy, but what baby doesn't. He is very attached to me and is still eating about every 3 hours. At night he is sleeping from about 9 or 9:30 til about 4. He then goes back to sleep and sleeps til about 7 or so. His nap times differ. I wish I could say I know exactly when he will sleep and exactly when he will be awake but we haven't gotten there yet. Hopefully soon!! We are enjoying him tremendously and everyone has adapted well.
As for me, well, busy, busy, and busy!! I think you forget how much time you have on your hands when you just have one child. I remember when Ethan was around a year old, you know when they start getting into everything, Gus and I looked at each other and said, "What did we do when we didn't have him?" We had alot of time on our hands, that's what!!! Well now we don't even have time to look at each other and think, we just intantly go into survival mode. We make a great team and I enjoy working aside him everyday in raising our children.I hope that you moms out there love, train, and enjoy your role as a mother as much as I have.

So with two kids we are officially busy ALL the time. We would not trade it for the world though. We love our boys so much!! We do try and set aside alone time for us. Usually after tucker goes to bed we finally get a chance to take a, breath and catch up on the day, before we hit the sack and start our day all over again. I thank the Lord for our family and all the many blessings he has given us!!

An update on Gus' job: Gus is currently working on a job that is located in Savannah, Ga. Two and half weeks ago we all moved up to Savannah. It is going to be short term and will probably last til December. We have found a furnished place here and are enjoying it very much. We plan to go back home each weekend so we can still attend church and visit with family and friends. We have also said if anyone wants to visit, then we will be more then happy to stay here for the weekend. You would be welcome to stay with us.
We are looking forward to this new adventure and having the opportunity to live in a different place.

We will continue to update you as much as possible.
Thank You
Love the Evans Family!!!
